Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 August 2026
In compliance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE), this Cookie Policy aims to clearly and precisely inform you about the storage technologies used on the Eventus platform (accessible through goeventus.com and its subdomains).
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's browser when they visit them. They are commonly used to remember preferences, maintain user sessions, or collect statistical information.
2. Does Eventus use cookies?
Eventus does not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Security and network infrastructure may use strictly necessary cookies to prevent abuse, maintain a secure session or protect administrative areas.
These technical cookies may be managed by Cloudflare and are not used for advertising. Because they are limited to purposes necessary to provide and protect the service, they do not require prior consent, without prejudice to the duty to provide information.
3. Local storage technologies used
Instead of cookies, the Eventus application uses browser local storage (localStorage) to store information strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service. Unlike cookies, data stored in localStorage:
- Is not automatically sent to the server with each HTTP request.
- Is not shared with third parties.
- Remains exclusively on your device.
- Is only accessible by the Eventus application itself.
3.1. Data stored in localStorage
| Key | Description | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| eventus_token | Authentication token (JWT) | Maintain the user's session without requiring login each time | 15 minutes (access token expiry) |
| eventus_refresh_token | Session refresh token | Securely renew the access token | Up to 7 days or until sign-out |
| eventus_user | Basic user profile (identifier, name, email) | Display user information in the interface without querying the server on each page | While the session is active |
| eventus_theme | Visual theme preference (light/dark) | Remember the user's appearance preference | Indefinite (until the user changes it or clears the data) |
| eventus_locale | Preferred language | Display the interface in the selected language | Until changed or browser data is cleared |
| eventus_currency | Display currency | Format amounts in the interface | Until changed or browser data is cleared |
| eventus_timezone | Timezone | Display dates and times correctly | Until changed or browser data is cleared |
| eventus_dateFormat | Date format | Display dates according to team settings | Until changed or browser data is cleared |
| eventus_company_onboarding_* | Initial setup assistant state | Remember whether initial setup is pending or complete | Until setup is complete or browser data is cleared |
All of this data has a strictly technical and necessary purpose for the operation of the service, and therefore does not require prior user consent under Article 22.2, second paragraph, of the LSSI-CE (exemption for technically necessary storage).
4. Third-party cookies
Eventus does not use tracking technologies for commercial purposes. In particular, we do not use:
- Analytics or statistics cookies (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar).
- Advertising or remarketing cookies.
- Social media cookies.
- Tracking pixels of any kind.
5. Future implementations
If Eventus incorporates cookies in the future (for example, for analytics or service improvement), this Policy will be updated in advance and a consent mechanism will be implemented allowing you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies before they are installed, in accordance with applicable regulations.
6. How to manage browser storage
You can manage and delete localStorage data and technical cookies through your browser. If you delete session data, you will need to sign in again.
To manage local storage, you can access your browser's developer tools:
- Chrome: F12 → "Application" tab → "Local Storage"
- Firefox: F12 → "Storage" tab → "Local Storage"
- Safari: Preferences → Advanced → "Show Develop menu" → "Storage" tab
- Edge: F12 → "Application" tab → "Local Storage"
Alternatively, you can clear all browsing data from your browser's settings.
